If you want to get to this piece of paradise, we can arrange a door to door transportation service, from your casa particular/hotel to the beach and then back, via 'taxi colectivo'. Are you ready to experience moments that will last a lifetime? Get in touch with Roy Vinales Tours to learn about our horse riding tour throughout the Valley of Vinales. You will embark on a beautiful ride to visit the tobacco plantations and learn about the process of our world famous cigars (includes a complimentary cigar per person), taste our amazing coffee and local rum all of this while enjoying the breathtaking beauty our Vinales valley has to offer! The tour includes, among other things, one stop at a beautiful lake and at our mirador where you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the valley. Our horses are very docile and well trained so this tour is accessible to everyone, even if you've never ridden a horse before. However we also offer alternatives, such as a hiking tour or a tour in carriage. Enjoy!

Ready to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise along with some of the best views in Vinales? Then a trip to Los Acuaticos is what you need! Located about 5 km away from the village, Los Acuaticos is a quiet place inside the mountains where a few families still reside nowadays. This small and mystical community believes in the curative power of water, hence its name. If you’re curious about them and would like to see one of the most beautiful views ever, come join us! We’ll come pick you up at your casa in Vinales very early, and we'll drop you off at the foot of the mountain so you have time to hike all the way up, right on time to enjoy the sunrise! You’ll then visit the oldest farm of this community and learn more about its inhabitants and their beliefs. On the way back, you'll also have a chance to visit a tobacco plantation (and take more beautiful photos).

Interested in a day trip from Havana?
You'd like to visit the beautiful Vinales Valley but just for a day trip? No problem! We can organize a day trip from Havana that will include private taxi service: you'll visit a tobacco farm (entrance included), where the local peasants will be happy to tell you about the process of making tobacco from start to finish (you'll even have a chance to taste the cigars!). They will also tell you about the process of making coffee, honey and rum (all explanations are in English, French, Spanish or Italian), all of which are typical local products here. You can even buy some products if you want, everything is made in this farm. Then, you can take an excursion throughout the valley (on horseback, by horse-drawn carriage or simply hiking with a guide, you choose!): this site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, famous for its unique vegetation, breathtaking views, and its typical 'Mogotes' the Cuban mountains which are an archeological curiosity. On your way, you will probably come accross a few nice animals, such as wild pigs or even goats roaming free. You'll also have a chance to stop and have lunch in a typical Cuban restaurant located deep in the valley. On the way back, you'll make a few stops, namely la Cueva del Indio*, el Mural de la Prehistoria* and the Jasmine hotel viewpoint. Contact us to get a quote and start your adventure!

... And after Vinales? Go to Cienfuegos!
After your stay in Vinales, why not head to Cienfuegos to discover El Nicho, a hidden gem between Cienfuegos and Trinidad, with its luscious nature and waterfalls, and observe beautiful bright pink flamingos, pelicans and many other protected species at the Guanaroca Nature Reserve, only 20 minutes outside of Cienfuegos? You'll make amazing memories (and pictures!)
The city of Cienfuegos itself is home to many marvels, such as the Tomas Terry Theater, El Palacio de Valle, its emblematic lions and of course the Malecon!

Our animal welfare project in Vinales

In Cuba, as you'll notice, there are many stray cats and dogs that urgently need our help. This is why we, along with other animal lovers, have decided to gather up and take action to help stray animals in Vinales. We treat them against parasites, find families to adopt puppies born on the streets and take care of wounded or sick animals that need proper care. We work with several vets and have the project to become part of Aniplant in the upcoming months, which will allow us to conduct more 'ambitious' initiatives such as sterilisation and vaccination campaigns. You can help us! If you have space in your luggage to bring us dog or cat food or OTC medication, please don't hesitate as those are very hard to find in Cuba so any help is welcome! This is a convenient door to door service that will save you a lot of time and hassle! We also provide the same service from your casa in Vinales to the one in the next city you're planning to visit
Looking for a great casa in Vinales? Stay with us! Our casa features two large bedrooms, each of them equipped with A/C, a private bathroom, two large double beds. Very important: We have an electric generator so if there's any electricity outage you won't have to worry AND we offer free Internet ! Therefore, you can relax on the patio, and enjoy the sunrise or sunset on our rooftop. We also serve breakfast and dinners upon requests. Come meet us in Vinales! We have received the official government certification that ensures our hostel respects the specific protocols to minimize the spread of Covid-19, to welcome you in the best possible conditions :)
